Keiara Burke – Trial Lawyer

Keiara joined Zehl & Associates after spending a year clerking with the firm, driven by her passion for helping others.

Originally from Gulfport, Mississippi, Keiara comes from a military family, moving around the country throughout her life. She is a proud two-time HBCU graduate, having received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, graduating summa cum laude and earning a place on the President’s List throughout her undergraduate studies. During her time at Bethune-Cookman, Keiara interned with a Fortune 500 company, gaining valuable experience in a corporate environment.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Keiara moved to Houston, Texas, to earn her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, where she also graduated summa cum laude and was on the Dean’s List throughout her law school career. While in law school, she was on the Thurgood Marshall Law Review and served on the leadership boards of the Barbara C. Jordan Chapter of the Black Law Students Association and the Student Bar Association.

In her free time, Keiara enjoys working out, traveling, and binge-watching crime shows.
