An explosion in Knoxville, Tennessee tragically took the life of Joe Mack, an R&L Carriers mechanic, on October 17, 2016. Mack, 43, was apparently working in R&L’s mechanical shop at 5004 North National Drive in Knoxville when the explosion occurred around 2:00 a.m.
While Knox County investigators are continuing to examine the scene to determine the cause of the explosion, a witness at the scene has reported seeing as many as four separate blasts.
The #1 Largest Verdict in R&L Carrier’s History
In the past 5 years alone, our Personal Injury Lawyers have recovered over $1 Billion for clients across the United States, including the #1 Largest Verdict in R&L Carrier’s Corporate history.
R&L Carriers refused to take responsibility for our clients’ injuries and chose, instead, to hire a team of lawyers and “expert witnesses” to limit our client’s recovery. After defeating their numerous attempts to blame our client, we took the case to trial in Dallas County, Texas, where the jury awarded our client over $4.2 million for her injuries.
R&L Carriers had only offered $150,000 to settle the case before trial.
