Early this morning at the SunEdison plant in Pasadena, Texas, an explosion occurred that injured at least 4 workers.
Details remain sketchy as the situation is still unfolding.
While the fire is reported to be largely contained, smoke continues to pour from the facility as of 9:30 a.m. CST, according to footage captured by KHOU’s Air 11 news helicopter.
The plant affected, located at 3000 N. South Ave. near Beltway 8 and the Buffalo Bayou, was originally reported to have been the Albemarle facility instead but this was inaccurate and quickly corrected.
